Sunday 1st March: Livingstone to Lusaka, Zambia.
Departed
from the hotel at 9am. The journey is just under 500kms and we know
some of it is going to be difficult so we’re expecting it to take 8
hours for the journey.
As it turns out, that is exactly what it took.
We
did hit a really bad section of road on the 100km stretch between
Livingstone and Zimba and that took a long time to negotiate.

Once through that 1st 100kms it was smooth driving all the way and we arrived in Lusaka at 5pm.

After looking at a couple of places we opted for 2 rooms at the Intercontinental hotel.
We were recommended a nice restaurant nearby & had a wonderful steak.
